Hi, my name is Mary, and I’m excited to share a little about myself and my passion for this work. Growing up in Montana and now living in Utah for the past five years, my heart is always drawn to the mountains where I feel most at home. I thrive outdoors, whether I’m swimming, hiking, biking, paddleboarding, or skiing. My love for crafting also led me to start my own natural body care company where I create nourishing products using herbs and plants. My journey began in healthcare right after high school, but after healing my own body and mind through holistic practices, I felt a shift away from conventional systems. My deep respect for childbirth inspired me to pursue a path supporting women during their most vulnerable times. Learning the art of Traditional Postpartum care from my teacher, Heidi Pyper, has been a deep remembering for me. This work allows me to honor and empower mothers during such a tender phase of life, and it feels like a true calling. I have profound respect for women and our incredible ability to bring life into this world, which continuously inspires my journey. I have a deep respect for these traditional practices and ways of healing the body after childbirth. They carry a wealth of knowledge and wisdom passed down through generations, rooted in a profound understanding of the physical and emotional journey that accompanies motherhood. These practices, honor the body’s natural rhythms and rhythms of recovery. I feel honored to continue bringing them forward.
